Calibrated Lab-Grown Diamond Layouts
Elmonas's calibrated lab-grown diamond layouts are coordinated sets of stones selected to fit a jewellery design with consistent measurements, shape, and visual character.
Elmonas's calibrated lab-grown diamond layouts are coordinated sets of stones selected to fit a jewellery design with consistent measurements, shape, and visual character. They are intended for designers, manufacturers, setters, and trade buyers who need a defined stone plan for a ring, bracelet, pendant, earrings, or repeat production programme.
Key facts
- Certification: IGI-certified stones available where applicable; report-to-stone linkage is confirmed for each order.
- Tolerance range: plus or minus 0.05mm on diameter and length-width for calibrated work, agreed in writing before selection or production.
- MOQ: no minimum order for stones 2 carats and above; 10 carats total minimum when individual stones are below 2 carats.
- Lead time: 1 to 5 working days where the specification is covered ex-stock; 5 to 10 working days for bespoke layouts; the production stages are confirmed with each order.
- Primary shapes: rounds, ovals, pears, marquises, emeralds, radiants, cushions, hearts, and other agreed forms.
A layout should be specified as a group rather than as a list of individual stones. Share the target shape, nominal measurements, colour and clarity range, quantity, setting architecture, or CAD reference. Length, width, depth, outline, faceting, and face-up appearance may all matter when stones are set beside one another. The required acceptance criteria should be agreed before selection or production.
IGI documentation can identify laboratory-grown origin and provide familiar information such as measurements, carat weight, colour, clarity, polish, symmetry, and cut information where applicable.[1] A report evaluates an individual diamond; it does not by itself certify that a parcel will fit a design as a coordinated layout. Supplier QC and buyer approval remain important.
Calibrated layouts can reduce selection and setting risk, support consistent setter instructions, and make future replenishment easier when the original specification is retained. If a requested size or shape is not feasible, that should be discussed before a quote becomes a production commitment.
The working documents are public: the calibrated parcel specification template shows the brief format, how to spec a calibrated parcel walks through a real specification, and reading a matched-layout tolerance sheet shows the acceptance document you check stones against.
